Vanessa McHardy is a leading Integrative Child & Adolescent Psychotherapist with 20+ years experience with a speciality for bringing Life Skills for Mental Health and Wellbeing Programmes to school communities. Vanessa has returned to New Zealand after 30 years in the UK, She has a wealth of experience of delivering these services and in the height of the pandemic wellbeing has come into focus and she works globally delivering online to Europe, America, Hong Kong, Australasia.

About the WHATPONU Program

​Super practical and fun.

Teaching the basics of neuroscience, of what stress does to the brain and making this understanding explicit then creates the cornerstone of knowing why and then how to support your body to stay open and relaxed in order to learn new information.

A very simple training for schools, 60 mins and your staff are ready to implement the program.
 

  • Provides your staff with a system that your whole school can use that increases vocabulary and understanding of feelings in the body and emotions.

  • Quickly identifies children who are struggling and gives you unified strategies to support them
